Pre-Tryout procedures

 Please carefully read the following information. All athletes and prospective athletes must have a completed physical on file that is  CURRENT ALL SCHOOL YEAR (physical cannot expire between August 2024 and May 2025).  This change prohibits any student athlete from losing eligibility due to a lapsed physical. 

Some students, due to insurance requirements, want to play sports next year and are not able to get a physical through insurance prior to the dates mentioned above. OSNC provides sports physicals for $10 at walk-in clinics at any time but also have some specific dates set for our school.  All students must have a completed physical (that doesn't expire during the school year Aug-May) form submitted by July 31, 2024 to participate in sports or off-season training for NRCA in the fall, winter, or spring sports seasons of the 2024-2025 school year. If you think your student may consider participating in ANY sport or tryout throughout the 2024-2025 school year, he/she must have a physical on file by July 29th.

 

How to register for sports tryouts

• If you have already created a registration account in the NRCA athletic registration system be sure to log in to registration system again and select the sport/s for the current season/year that you are trying out for. A current medical exam form signed by a physician and a concussion form must be uploaded to the registration system on a yearly basis.
  • Go to https://nrcaknights.com
  • Click on the ATHLETICS tab at the top of the NRCA homepage.
  • Click on the ATHLETIC REGISTRATION tab at the top of the page.
  • Click on VIEW MY ACCOUNT (blue button located at the top right of the page) 
  • Log in to account as a returning user 
  • Click small arrow next to "register" located right above the table with student information on the left side of the page, drop down menu will pop up, select child you are registering for an activity, then follow the steps in the registration, make sure to select the activity that your child will tryout for or participate.

  • Go to https://nrcaknights.com
  • Click on the ATHLETICS tab at the top of the NRCA homepage
  • Click on the ATHLETIC REGISTRATION tab at the top of the page.
  • Scroll down the page to the icon with sports balls that is labeled ACTIVITIES TEAM REGISTRATION. Click on the icon and create an account as a new user. Follow the steps to register the athlete for each sport that they will try out for.
