Our Varsity Girls Golf Team played well in their season-opener against Durham Academy. They fell short of bringing home the victory, but every team member did her job. Senior Annalee Caveney led the Lady Knights with a solid 2-over-par 38. Also scoring for the Knights were Freshmen Sophia Cortes and Lee Frecker. The Lady Knight face St. Mary's School this Thursday.

The NRCA Girls Golf Team had beautiful weather for their golf match with St. Mary's School yesterday. The win alluded them, but they had a fun match. Senior Annalee Caveney led the Knights with a 1-over-par 36. Freshmen Sophia Cortes and Lee Frecker also scored for the Knights. The team will play Cary Academy next Thursday.

A HOT day and a BIG win on Thursday for the NRCA Girls Golf Team as the Lady Knights defeated the Cary Academy Chargers 118 to 140. Senior Annalee Caveney led the Knights with a magnificent 3-under-par 32. Junior Anna Cate Badin followed her teammate closely with a solid 2-over-par 37. Freshman Sophia Cortes also scored for the Knights giving them a competitive total of 118. Way to go Ladies!

A beautiful day and a crucial WIN for the NRCA Girls Golf Team besting Cary Academy 112 to 122 yesterday on their home course! Annalee Caveney led the Lady Knights with a stellar 1-under-par 33. Also scoring for the Knights were Anna Cate Badin with a solid 38 and Sophia Cortes with a season-best 41! Also shooting their season-best scores were Brynn Coley, Lee Frecker, and Caroline Newell. The team plays in the North State High School Challenge at Campbell University later today. Go Knights!
