The NRCA Golf team battled strong winds and a tough opponent yesterday falling to Durham Academy 163-154. The top scorers for the Knights were Senior Noah Weyne and Freshman Tyler Peter's. The Knights take on CA Wednesday at Prestonwood.

Two matches and two WINS yesterday for the NRCA Golf Team as they bested Cary Academy 162 to 170 and 149 to 167. Junior CJ Peterson and Senior Noah Weyne led the Knights in the first match on the front nine with twin 38's. The Knights turned up the heat on the back nine. CJ Peterson earned match medalist honors with a fantastic 4-under-par 32! Also scoring for the Knights were 7th grader Eli Wofford with a 1-over-par 37 and Seniors Noah Weyne with 39 and Paul Smith with a 41. Way to go guys!

A beautiful day at Hasentree and a HUGE win for the NRCA Golf Team in their match against Heritage High School as the Knights defeated the Huskies 149-161. Senior Noah Weyne and Junior CJ Peterson earned medalist honors with twin 1-under-par rounds of 35. Just one stroke back from the upperclassmen was 7th grader Gantt Reasoner with an even-par 36. The Knights will face Durham Academy next Tuesday at Hope Valley.

A tough match for the Varsity Golf Team yesterday against a formidable opponent and difficult golf course as the Knights fell to the Cavaliers 149-157. Senior Noah Weyne and Junior CJ Peterson led the Knights with twin 37's. Also scoring in the match were Senior Paul Smith with 40 and 7th grader Gantt Reasoner with 43. The Knights will battle Ravenscroft on Thursday at Hasentree.

Junior CJ Peterson shot a 2-over-par 38 and led the Varsity Golf Team to a BIG win over Ravenscroft on Thursday 158 to 163. Just 1 shot behind were Seniors Noah Weyne and Paul Smith each shooting 39. Also scoring, in a 3-way-tie at 42, were Connor McGann, Eli Wofford and Gantt Reasoner. The team will travel to Pawleys Island, South Carolina, next weekend to play in the Palmetto Championship. Go Knights!!

A big win on Senior Night as NRCA bested Cary Academy 154 to 161. Junior CJ Peterson led the Knights with a magnificent (1-under-par) 35 followed closely by Senior Paul Smith with a solid 37. Also scoring for the Knights were Senior Connor McGann and and 7th grader Eli Wofford with twin 41's. Way to go Boys!!

Another UNDER PAR round for Junior CJ Peterson as the Knights ravage the Ravens 155 to 167 at Hasentree yesterday. CJ's 3-under-par 33 has earned him the top spot on the NCISAA Leaderboard this morning and provides outstanding momentum as the NRCA Golf Team approaches tournament play. Also scoring for the Knights were Senior Noah Weyne with 39, 7th grader Eli Wofford with 40, and Freshman Tyler Peters with 43. The Knights will play in the Wesleyan Christian Academy Invitational at Grandover Resort next Tuesday.
